1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Chico, California is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Will be delegated some management responsibilities, will be trained, and will learn new skills on the job that they can carry forward – we love to promote from within! Once trained, the position will take on additional responsibilities and duties, working closely with the course General Manager and the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional. Warmly welcome guests to the facility and provide them with a high level of customer service from the moment of first contact to the end of their time with us. You will learn and understand our company policies and procedures, providing you with a knowledge base for answering any question that might be asked, always knowing you’ll have management support for any issue that arises. You will enthusiastically promote the game of golf and in the community. You’ll make suggestions on how the facility can be better and to help our events be as dynamic and exciting as possible. You’ll assist in group event scheduling and facilitation. You’ll become an expert in our membership program and pricing structure.

Requirements:
Attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with guests and staff.
Ability to represent the facility in a professional manner, remaining calm under pressure, have the ability to de-escalate situations and to know when to seek management support.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
