Boys Golf Coach
Golf Course in San Francisco, California is looking for a Boys Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Its primary function is to coach the SHC Boys Golf Team. The role is responsible for character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the mission and policies of SHC and the charisms of the Daughters of Charity and De La Salle Christian Brothers through active mission and Catholic formation.
• Plan, organize, and oversee the the Golf program.
• Models good sportsmanship behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards opposing team, fans, parents, officials, spectators and community.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director(s) to hire qualified assistant coaches.
• Demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team development.
• Ensures that team rules and regulations regarding conduct and eligibility of the athletes are clearly communicated and followed.
• Consults with the Athletic Director(s) on regular basis.
• Participates in all required coaches, student athlete and parent meetings scheduled by the Athletic Directors.
• Creates a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Maintains strong interpersonal skills.
• Works directly with school athletic trainers in reporting injuries, teaching precautions and procedures to ensure staff/student safety and help students prevent injuries.
• Completes Required forms and documents in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Must be a mission-driven individual with a deep passion for Catholic secondary education.
Playing experience and/or knowledge of the sport is required.
Previous high school or college coaching experience is preferred.
Candidates must be available during after-school hours (2:00-7:00pm) and on Saturdays.
Off-season meetings and duties are also required.
Successful candidates must clear fingerprinting background checks and complete required training and certifications.
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
