Golf Shop Assistant
Golf Club in Kingston, New York is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
This individual will have various tasks in providing a friendly, welcome, and energetic environment in and around the Golf Shop.

This individual will be responsible but not limited to the tasks below:
• Assisting the Head Golf Professional/Golf Shop Owner in buying apparel and accessories.
• Greeting members and guests for special events.
• Receiving Inventory.
• Organizing/Managing all special orders in the Golf Shop.
• Charging purchases made in the Golf Shop through our POS System and Credit Card Terminal.
• Answering the phone and communicating messages to the Golf Professional Staff.
• Providing and updating content on Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to help promote the Golf Shop concession as well as the club.
• Attend staff meetings.

Requirements:
Enjoys being around people.
Service-minded individual who sees the value in helping others.
An individual who understands, but more importantly buys into the TEAM concept.
Creative individual with a motivation to provide fresh new ideas from a merchandising perspective but also an eye on improving operational procedures in the Golf Shop.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
