Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in El Paso, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This position reports directly to the golf course superintendent and will assist the superintendent in managing a crew of approx. 18-20 staff members in all cultural, mechanical, agronomic and turf management duties to help the club reach their goal of being one of the best clubs in the region.

Requirements:
An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as agronomy, turf grass management, soil science, or horticulture is preferred but all candidates will be vetted based on their experience and education.
3-5 experience in performing the typical duties and tasks of an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Construction and irrigation experience is a plus.
Experience in growing warm-season turf grass in the desert southwest is highly desirable.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a current pesticides applicators license the meets all of the requirements of the state of Texas.
Valid clear driver’s license.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $80,000 per year.
