1st Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Salem, Virginia is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The position will assist with the management of daily golf operations including but not limited to; managing and tracking play, protection and controlling assets, supervising golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, teaching lessons, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Requirements:
At least 1 years previous experience working within the golf industry.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office, GHIN, and Golf Genius
Knowledge in each of the following: teaching, club fitting, tournament operations, cart management, driving range management, club repair, rules and Pro Shop operations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends and evenings.
Proven ability to:
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Prioritize and organize.
Resolve problems calmly, using good judgment.
Work independently.
Understand customer service needs and provide anticipatory service.
Work effectively with managers and co-workers.

Compensation:
$44,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year.
