Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Midland, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Assists the Golf Pro in golf instruction and in overseeing other staff members in the operations.
Essential Job Duties:
• Responsible for insuring proper setup for tournaments.
• Responsible for scheduling staff and shop employees.
• Performs golf instruction, both individual and group.
• Assists in merchandising and inventory for the pro shop.
• Oversees Golf Pro (I), assistant pros, cashiers and starters.
• Provides quality, friendly customer service.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have thorough knowledge of golf, experience in teaching, merchandising, public relations and golf tournament operations.
Preferred PGA Associate or Class A Membership.
Valid Texas driver’s license required.
Compensation:
$56,932.00 per year.
