Golf Shop Attendant
Golf Club in Bonita Springs, Florida is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Works under the supervision of the Director of Golf Operations. Works closely with other club golf operations staff and has daily contact with the clientele of the club.

Tasks/Duties:
• Assist in all facets of golf operations, including golf shop, tournament preparations, instruction and member relations.
• Assist in the sales of shop merchandise and services, assisting guests and members as needed with purchases, special orders, returns/credits. .
• If enrolled in PGA/LPGA, may golf with other members, promote, and give lessons.
• Assist tournament preparation for men’s and women’s 9-hole groups; includes promoting upcoming events and signing players up, preparing scorecards, scoreboards and cart signs.
• Responsible for daily play registration, merchandise sales and inventory accountability.
• Responsible for assistance with merchandise check-in and equipment inventory.
• Provide assistance in computer tee time systems, computer handicap systems, USGA and local rules, equipment design and characteristics, club fitting, repairs and alterations.
• Complies with and promotes all organization policies and procedures, including the Drugfree workplace policy.
• Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.

Requirements:
Enrollment in PGA/LPGA preferred, but not required.
Experience in a golf operation is preferred, but not required.
College degree or working toward a college degree is preferred, but not required.
Proven record of good customer service and communication skills.
Oral Compression: ability to listen and understand the needs of co-workers, clientele, and visitors.
Oral Expression: ability to communicate with proper word selection, spoken grammar, and in a manner to is comprehended by the recipient.
Written Comprehension: ability to read and understand industry-specific documents, articles, professional journals, etc.
Written Expression: ability to write with proper word selection, grammar and sentence/paragraph/report structure.
Must have excellent customer service skills and dedicated to providing superior customer service.
Must project confidence to staff and membership.
Honest and high level of integrity.
