Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Northeast Harbor, Maine is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Our intern will learn all aspects of fixing and maintaining the irrigation. A new system is in the final stages of planning. Ideally, our intern candidate is enrolled in a turfgrass program, related field, or recently completed their degree. Beyond learning irrigation, our goal is to teach our interns all facets of the industry and vastly prepare them for their career ahead. Maintenance skills can be taught, however, attitude and effort need to be brought by our candidate. A desire to learn and grow is key. Our intern will work directly with the Assistant Superintendent and the Superintendent on a daily basis through training, planning, note-taking, and executing plans over the course of the internship.

Requirements:
Enrolled or recently completed a turf-related college program.
No experience necessary, but knowledge of the game of golf is a plus. However, everything can be taught.
Willingness to learn.
Good attitude.
Strong work ethic.

Compensation:
$20 per hour.
On-site, provided housing.
Golf privileges.
