Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Carson City, Nevada is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Be involved in all facets of the daily maintenance, and operation, of a top-tier private golf course. Interns play a pivotal role in informing the decisions of assistants and the superintendent, and act as an extension of managers while in the field. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, mowing, course set up, handwatering, fertilizing, topdressing, cultivation, crew management, irrigation repair, and data collection. By the end of your time here, you will leave with the field skills, understanding, and experience necessary to further your turfgrass career.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled or recent graduate of 2 or 4 year Turfgrass Program.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Prior golf course experience is preferred, however, we are prepared to train the right candidate.
A basic understanding of the game of golf is strongly encouraged.

Compensation:
$16 – $22 per hour.
Complimentary housing, uniforms, lunch, and golfing privileges.
