Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Holly Springs, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in the Golf Operation.
• Maintain day-to-day operations.
• Pro Shop Duties:
• Assist members and guests with tee times and communication.
• Check in golfers along with starter and ranger duties.
• Facilitate Telephone calls.
• Merchandise the golf shop.
• Train and lead the outside staff.
o Assist and supervise outside operation as needed.
o Assist with monthly inventory, purchasing, and receiving.
o Assist with Men’s, Ladies, Senior Leagues.
o Assist with tournament preparations with Golf Genius.
o Assist with USGA Handicap Management.
o Provide exceptional customer service skills.

Requirements:
Current PGA or LPGA member or associate actively pursuing membership
2 years prior golf course experience (private club experience preferred)
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
Service and member-driven attitude
Experience with tournament operations, knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament software.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, the golf swing, rules of golf, and golf facility operations.
Positive personality, energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
Detail-oriented individual who is able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.

Compensation:
$45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
