Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Winnetka, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The position will assist the Head Golf Professional and support their fellow assistant professionals in all areas and management of the Golf Operation. This 7-month position will have a 5/6 day work week with ample time away from the Club to ensure a work-life balance. In his career, the head golf professional has placed 9 Assistant Golf Professionals into Head Golf Professional positions and the selected candidate will be strongly supported to follow a similar career path.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide private golf instruction and club fitting experiences using FlightScope.
• Main contact and coach for Indian Hill’s active junior golf program.
• Culminate a positive experience for all members and their guests while at the club.
• Assist in merchandising, special orders, tournament set-up and execution.
• Conduct golf clinics and encourage new participants.
• Maintain regular communication with Membership and Club Staff in the form of weekly emails and promotions regarding upcoming club events.
• Work closely with the Caddie Program representative and outside golf operations to provide top-tier service to all players.

Requirements:
Experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at a similar facility.
Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software and Microsoft Office preferred.
Four-year college degree is preferred, but not required.
Enrolled in the PGA PGM Program Level 1, 2, or 3.
Self-motivated and passionate about growing the game of golf.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
