2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Destin, Florida is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating with the superintendent and other assistant in the planning, scheduling and implementation of maintenance practices and capital improvement projects.
• Training and supervising employees and being accountable for the finished results of work.
• Maintain awareness and communication of changing course conditions and maintenance needs with the other assistant and superintendent.
• Supervising and participating in the IPM and plant fertility programs.
• Monitor irrigation needs, coordinating with the superintendent for scheduling and system maintenance and repair needs.

Requirements:
BS or AS in plant and soil science preferred.
Certificate level education will be considered.
Two years fulltime.
One year as a dedicated tech / AIT
Must pass preemployment drug screening.
Must have a valid driver license.
Must obtain FL applicators license within 6 months.

Compensation:
$43,000 – $48,000 per year.
