Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in River Grove, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Job Description:
• Expected to be engaged, organized, and detailed regarding golf course and facility maintenance.
• Lead and train small crews.
• Properly mix and calibrate equipment for pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Responsible water management practices of all playing surfaces.
• Repair and adjust Toro irrigation system using Lynx software.
• Responsible for successfully leading various projects.
• Snow removal of the clubhouse parking lot and surrounding buildings.
• Ensure correct daily equipment setup and lock up.
• Work in conjunction with the superintendent and other assistants to improve the grounds department operations.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Requirements:
2-to-4-year degree in Turfgrass Management or Business.
0-2 years golf course experience.
Willing to train the right individual.
Have the ability to obtain an Illinois pesticide license.
Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:
$50,000 – $60,000 per year.
