Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Links in Columbiana, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This full-time position will be in charge of necessary daily maintenance procedures, special projects, and assist the superintendent in staff management and long-range goals for the golf course.

Requirements:
Applicant should have experience in the golf course maintenance industry and be trained on basic course management procedures.
These should include the ability to operate and maintain the mowing equipment, have experience with irrigation repair, and have the ability to run the sprayer.
A degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of golf course maintenance experience.
Ohio Pesticide Applicator’s License.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and repairs.
Thorough knowledge of chemical and fertilizer applications.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment associated with the golf course industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year.
Employment package may include 401k, health insurance, and other employee benefits.
