Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents, interns perform work in all aspects of golf course maintenance. This includes chemical/fertilizer applications and calibrations, integrated pest management, irrigation repair and technology, proper watering techniques. Interns will also experience our club’s unique General Manager & Department Manager All-Intern Sessions. These sessions include interns from each club department and give interns the opportunity to interact with club leadership to learn more about club operations, financials, and other interesting topics. The club’s executive team uses the sessions to impart valuable knowledge and get to know each of the interns individually.

Interns should be able to:
1. Follow oral and written directions.
2. Learn and adapt to new job tasks.
3. Be proactive in individual and group task settings.
4. Learn to lead small crew projects and tasks.
5. Support a professional work environment.
6. Exemplify leadership skills, physical and vocally, and lead by example.

Requirements:
Students must be enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Turf Management (or related) program.
Previous golf course experience preferred.

Compensation:
$18 per hour.
On-site housing.
