Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The applicant will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance with a focus on development and advancement in their career.

Duties include, but not limited to:
• Moisture management.
o Providing firm and fast conditions daily on native push-up Poa greens.
• Equipment operation.
• Irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
o Toro Lynx irrigation system.
• Plant protectant calibration and applications.
• Involvement in the planning and implementation of IPM strategies.
• Project management and team leadership.
• Involvement in Green Committee and Construction project meetings.
• Week working with the mechanics learning the fundamentals of equipment maintenance.

Requirements:
The applicant shall be working towards completing/ completed a Turfgrass Management or closely related field in a Certificate, 2-year, or 4-year program.
Previous golf course experience preferred but not required.
A strong desire to succeed within the Turf industry along with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Compensation:
$16 per hour.
