Head Men’s Golf Coach
University in Conway, Arkansas is looking for a Head Men’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Instructs and coaches student-athletes, improving skill, sport performance and leadership. Counsels team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters; monitors the academic progress and eligibility status of student-athletes. Oversees the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes; manages recruiting process in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. Develops and manages expenses within budget. Oversees the conditioning and training of student-athletes and ensures their safety in the use of all equipment and facilities. Develops, implements and enforces team rules. Leads the scheduling of team’s athletic competition. Analyzes past performance, opponent’s performance, designs game plans/strategies, etc. Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, students’ parents, faculty, co-workers and managers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Proficient in the technical knowledge of their sport.
Capability to instruct student-athletes and increase their athletic performance.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of NCAA, and ASUN rules and regulations.
College Degree or experience equivalency.
Minimum 2 years College Golf Coaching Experience preferred.

Compensation:
$65,000 per year.
