Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in daily discussions about course management, projects, agronomic and cultural practices. With 60 holes of golf, students will experience all aspects of golf course maintenance such as, but not limited to:
• Experience maintaining bentgrass on USGA and push-up style greens, and maintaining Poa Annua Greens.
• Staff management and training.
• Assist with the water management program.
• Chemical/fertilizer applications and calibrations.
• Irrigation installation, troubleshooting and repair.
• Daily course management maintaining championship conditioning.
• Exposure to managing critical thinking at a multi-course facility.
• Learn basic equipment management practices.

Requirements:
Students must be enrolled in a 2 or 4-year Turf Management (or related) program.
Prior golf course experience is preferred but not required.
Goal-oriented individuals with the willingness to learn.
The ability to communicate and be detail-oriented.
Confidence to make decisions and possess strong teamwork skills.

Compensation:
$17 – $18 per hour.
On-site housing, uniforms, golf privileges, available overtime.
