Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Bloomfield, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The position is a key member of the golf operations team and assists in managing all golf and golf-related activities at the facility. This position will strongly assist with event and tournament operations, supervising and managing golf staff, tee sheet management, and merchandise management, and ensuring an exceptional golf experience for all players.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Monitor member & guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best guest service.
• Maintain daily cash receipts and accounts receivable charges.
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Assist in coordinating individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the Director of Golf.
• Work with the professional staff on all facets of the tournament program(s), specifically Ladies, Mixed couples & Juniors.
• Produce daily reports related to rounds, sales, etc. for management.
• Work closely with Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, monitoring the pace of play, safety on the course, and golf course markings.
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
• Teach junior camps and clinics and promote the Game of Golf through our junior program.
• Play Golf as well as Promote the Facility and Golf Course.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
Must have solid supervisory and leadership skills.
Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have strong computer skills – Golf Genius, Publisher, Word, Excel, POS, etc.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour.
