Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Columbia, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Specific Responsibilities:
• Progress and/or complete the requirements of PGA/LPGA membership and maintain an active classification in The PGA/LPGA of America.
• Assist in the management of the total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional and 1st Assistant Professional.
• Member Engagement- Must be engaging to the membership on a daily basis. This includes on-course group performance-based instruction, club fittings, as well as daily shop duties and new and perspective member engagement.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members & guests.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Encourages a total team operation in all golf shop activities.
• Assist in marking the course.
• As the schedule of Columbia Country Club activities permits, may play golf in local PGA/LPGA Section events.
• Encouraged to play golf with the membership of Columbia Country Club and their guests.
• Entitled to bring guests to the facility with approval of the Head Golf Professional.
• In general, fills his position to the best of their ability.

Requirements:
High School graduate.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $18.00 per hour.
