Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Chagrin Falls, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The qualified candidate will assist the Head Golf Professional and both Assistant Golf Professionals with daily operations and other jobs and tasks that may include the following:
• Manage different golf events on the calendar at the direction of the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist the operation in Junior Golf (Operation 36/PGA Junior League) and Ladies Golf Development Programs (Operation 36), merchandising, tournament operations, and personnel management responsibilities.
• Help maintain the golf pro shop inventory system.
• Assist members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations, signing up for tee times, signing up for tournaments, etc.
• Maintain inventory levels necessary for in-house club repair work.
• Assume duties of other members of staff if they are unable to work.
• Manage daily opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure all tournament winners are properly entered into the credit book with correct information.
• Perform pace of play checks as needed on the golf course.
• Assist in the management of the USGA Handicap system.
• Ensure the golf course is properly marked for all member events and daily play.
• Maintain golf game to a ‘professional’ standard and play at least one round per month with members.
• Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Lead Assistant Professional.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
