Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in the management of day-to-day Golf Operations. This position will work directly with the Head Golf Professional and other assistant professionals in all golf operations and golf-related activities and business. The Assistant will be directly responsible for the Junior Golf programming and preparing and executing the Men’s golf tournament schedule.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Golf tournament planning and management (will be assigned events).
• Support outside staff and locker room staff; supervise as needed.
• Book tee times and use Golf Tee Time System.
• Monitor player flow and Golf Course Pace of Play/Management.
• Monitor Handicap System.
• Merchandise Sales, Club fitting, display, and inventory of merchandise.
• Stay on track in completing PGA Membership Requirements.
• Work at maintaining playing ability.
• Participate in golf with club members.
• Attend PGA skill and/or personal improvement opportunities.

Requirements:
PGA Member or registered in PGA Associate Program.
Proficient in GolfGenius Tournament Management, JONAS, Foretees and other basic computer systems.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Professional appearance and language skills.
Prior experience in playing the game of golf.
Prior experience working in the golf business.
Must be able to perform all physical requirements of golf.

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour.
