Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Houston, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Functions:
• Control pace of play on golf course by directing players to the first tee and documenting turn and finish times.
• Provides information regarding course conditions, pace of play and other golf-related issues.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all member and guests are provided with excellent customer service every day.
• Keep the tee sheet updated to include check-ins, members’ and guests’ names, and additions/cancellations.
• Document cart numbers.
• Ensure groups tee off at the correct time.
• Assist in running tournaments, clinics, and other special events.
• Additional duties may include:
o Ensure that members’ and guests’ bags are appropriately placed on carts
o Train and instruct outside services staff in proper duties and etiquette.
o Ensure outside staff operates golf carts and driving range equipment in a safe manner.
o Assist the outside staff in assisting members/guests in the parking lot.
o Manage the driving range to guarantee a neat and organized tee with a full allotment of practice balls.
• Coordinate activities, orders, and corrective actions with Golf Shop personnel to keep services running smoothly.
• Supply players with score cards, pencils, pin sheets, ice and water in their cooler, and towels.
• Operates pro shop and point of sale.
• Perform all work-related duties as assigned by Assistant Professionals, Head Professional or General Manager.

Compensation:
$12.00 – $14.00 per hour.
