Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Racine, Wisconsin is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The candidate will become an integral part of this collaborative senior leadership team and will lead day-to-day operations of the club’s golf program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strong communication skills, ability to coach and mentor, and execute at a high level. The Golf Professional will be responsible for managing the entire golf operation including but not limited to merchandising, tournament operations, outside operations, cart operations and lesson program.
The Golf Professional supervises: Assistant Professionals, Director of Instruction, Golf Shop service Staff, outside operations staff, and locker room staff.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Attends all Golf/Grounds Committee Meetings.
• Develop the Golf budget.
• Coordinate and ensure that all written communication, reports, newsletters are sent in a timely manner to the membership.
• Meet, greet and welcome perspective members.
• Develop and oversee an innovative tournament schedule and golf activities program that services all member segments.
• Develop and oversee a profitable merchandising concession that is consistent with member demographics and needs.
• Oversee all fiscal areas and performance for the golf operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting monitoring, and correction.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the golf Course Superintendent and all other department heads.
• Play golf with members of all skill levels as time and duties permit.
• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
• Service and member-focused attitude.
• Oversee player development programming, coaching, and member engagement.
• Oversee an outside operations/locker room staff committed to excellent service.

Requirements:
Experience as a Head Golf Professional or a First Assistant Golf Professional.
PGA or LPGA Member.
5+ years in full-service private clubs.
Have basic computer skills, excel, Word, Golf Genius, and standard POS systems.
Ability to train, lead, and mentor a team in golf service excellence.

Compensation:
$60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
