Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Saint Louis, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the PGA Director of Golf (DOG) and PGA Head Professional (HP) in all aspects of the Golf Operation. This includes providing support and coordination to all members of the Golf Operation, to ensure gracious hospitality and exceptional service throughout the golf experience at Bellerive. Areas of responsibility will include Golf Shop Member Services; Ladies Golf programming; tournament administration; daily accounting, and playing golf with Members, both at the Club and in area pro-ams. In addition, other responsibilities include assisting in the areas of Junior Golf, Player Development and Golf Shop merchandising. The PGA/LPGA Assistant will also work in conjunction with the F&B Operations and administration teams to provide timely communication and synergy to all aspects of our programming. This professional will also assist the DOG and HP to assure that the wants and needs of club members and guests are consistently exceeded; research and propose new ideas, processes and procedures to enhance the member experience; deliver an outstanding personalized experience to all members and guests.

The “Core Four” duties of the position are as follows:
• Assist DOG and HP in creating a culture of excellence with a focus on attention to detail in all areas of the Golf Operation.
• Ensure member and guest satisfaction while also ensuring budgeted goals are met.
• Responsible for Golf Genius software tournament set-up.
• Provide sound business practices in daily accounting and Golf Shop Member Services.

Additional Responsibilities:

5. Provides skilled golf instruction for all demographics of our Membership; focusing on Ladies and beginning players.
6. Finds new ways to improve service, appearance and member experience in all areas.
7. Plays golf with all demographics of the Membership.
8. Hosts groups of Members on golf trips and pro-ams, approved by the DOG.
9. Assists with monitoring pace of play and on-course surveillance.
10. Works with the accounting office to ensure proper billing of charges .
11. Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met.
12. Collaborate effectively with peer managers to ensure an outstanding member experience.
13. Addresses member and guest complaints and advises the DOG and HP about appropriate corrective actions taken.
14. Monitors member dress codes according to policies and procedures.
15. Consistently lead by example and demonstrate the highest commitment and enthusiasm for member and guest service.

Compensation:
$15.00 per hour.
