Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Essex Junction, Vermont is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in providing a quality golf experience for our membership.
• Help organize and teach junior camps and clinics.
• Conduct private lessons.
• Prepare and help assist with outside outings, VSGA, leagues and member events.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the golf shop(hours dependent on time of year).
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Greeting and welcoming members and guests, while having a presence in the Golf Shop.
• Completes educational credits as required by the PGA (if applicable).
• Maintaining and updating USGA Handicap System.
• Maintains a professional image, while conducting oneself in a professional manner.
• Consults with the management about golf course and practice range operations, maintenance, and rules.
• Help supervise and management shop staff, outside support, ambassadors and beverage cart workers.
• Help manage tee-sheet and POS systems.
• Use of Golf Genius for tournament set-up and scoring.

Requirements:
PGA Membership or enrolled or seeking to enroll in the PGM program (preferred).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one year of customer service or hospitality experience.
Experience with Golf Genius (preferred).
Experience with teaching golf (preferred).
Must have a valid driver’s license or passport.

Compensation:
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour.
