Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Holland, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Be involved in all areas of the golf operation with an emphasis on managing the day-to-day operations, coordinating an active event schedule, providing quality golf instruction, and committing to the following expectations:
• Serve as a mentor and role model for all golf staff members.
• Understand the entire operation thoroughly, including club rules, regulations, and policies.
• Display professionalism, understand the private club environment, and use good judgment when making decisions.
• Help organize and conduct golf events for men, women, juniors and mixed couples. Actively promote golf events and encourage participation.
• Assist in all areas of the golf shop and merchandise operation.
• Provide quality golf instruction and club fitting services, receiving 100% of lesson revenue.
• Help lead junior golf programs and clinics with assistance from other professional staff.
• Play golf with members and guests on a regular basis and improve your own game.
• Assist in managing the outside services program to uphold service and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor tee sheet and pace of play.
• Work cohesively with the Director of Golf and Lead Assistant to assist the operation beyond the areas outlined above to ensure all members and guests receive a first-class experience while at the club.
• Provide coverage in the Golf Shop during busy times.
• Provide golf instruction- private and group clinics.
• Assist with Tournaments- Men’s- Women’s – Couples.
• Play golf with Members.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of a successful golf operation.

Requirements:
3 years of experience is preferred.

Compensation:
$700.00 per week.
