Golf Shop Attendant
Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Provides optimal customer service to members and guests. Attempts to anticipate and fulfill members and guests needs in a variety of responsibilities as assigned, which may include work in the Cart Barn, Starting and/or Course Play (Ranger).

Responsibilities:
• Assists in creating a warm and welcoming environment for members and guests.
• Ensure that all members and guests’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively by delivering service excellence.
• Contribute to day-to-day golf operations as it pertains to regular play days, club events and outings.
• Main job responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining golf cart fleet, cleaning, and storing golf clubs/bags, staging golf carts for regular play days, club events and corporate outings, as well as set-up/maintaining/breakdown of the practice facilities.
• Knowledgeable of daily club events, golf course conditions, rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Promote the game of golf and the club.

Requirements:
Service-oriented with a high degree of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Manage time in a high-paced operation.
Maintain quality appearance, good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn golf industry concepts and operations.
Physically able to lift boxes, heavy objects, stand for an extended amount of time and work outdoors.
Familiar with how to operate a golf cart safely.
Possess excellent customer service skills.
Effective English communication skills with co-workers and guests bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Should be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Should be helpful to other team members, and project a positive service attitude.
Must be dependable and punctual, and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$13.25 – $14.25 per hour.
