Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Oak Brook, Illinois is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Intern will work closely with the superintendent and his assistants in all aspects of course maintenance. Areas of intense training will include chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation maintenance, scouting, tournament and daily course preparation and routine maintenance. Interns have an opportunity to experience all aspects of a high-maintenance operation with a staff willing to answer all questions and share valuable information.

Requirements:
Looking for a hard-working individual, committed to the turf industry.
Willing to work long hours and have a desire to maximize their experience.
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from two or four-year turfgrass management program or related field.

Experience Requirements
Some golf course maintenance experience required.

Compensation:
$20 – $22 per hour.
Off-site housing, uniforms and golf privileges.
