Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Larchmont, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to the membership by interacting with the members and guests daily.
• Responsible with other employees for daily Golf Shop Duties which include:
-Opening and closing of the Golf Shop.
-Presentation of shop and displays.
-Assist members and guests with special orders.
-Answering the phone and assisting members register for tee times and tournaments
• Promote the game of golf.
• Lead the Junior Golf Program which already includes a spring and fall PGA Junior League program and a 6-week long summer camp.
• Play golf with the membership when permitted.
• Administer some tournaments using Golf Genius Tournament Software.
• As a team, monitor pace of play during busy times.
• Represent Bonnie Briar by competing in the Metropolitan PGA section tournaments.
• Basic Club Repair.

Requirements:
PGA member or close to obtaining membership.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and experience working in the private club sector is preferred.
Self-motivated, team player.
Passionate about Golf Instruction.
Goal is to become a Head Golf Professional.
Work experience in the Metropolitan section is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour.
