Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Kemp, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Work at a great club, providing superior service for the club members and their quest while gaining valuable experience in the golf business.

Duties:
• Daily opening/closing of the pro shop.
• Ability to operate a computerized point of sale to include an electronic tee sheet.
• Effectively manage tee time reservations and monitor play on the golf course to ensure pace of play for our members and their guest.
• Ability to answer club and membership questions regarding the club.
• Perform related duties as needed, or directed, such as tournament operations, merchandising, inventory, managing cart service employees, and maintaining a clean, neat and organized pro shop.
• Sell products and services offered by the facility and replenish stock as needed.
• Ensure all golf carts are clean and fit for rent and assist with all maintenance records.

Requirements:
High school degree preferred.
One year of experience in golf operations, which includes golf shop and golf cart operations preferred.
Food and Beverage experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license.
Possess a valid TABC Seller/Server certification or the ability to obtain within 3 days of hire, and a Food Handlers Certificate.
Perform a variety of physical skills including but not limited to seeing, carrying, kneeling, twisting body, and standing for several hours.
Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle and a variety of equipment including but not limited to telephone, calculator, and personal computer.
Must be able to lift or exert forces equivalent to lifting up to 40 pounds and push/pull 25 pounds for 40 feet.
Ability and willingness to work both in and outdoor environments.

Compensation:
$34,000.00 – $38,000.00 per year.
