Golf Club in Genoa, Nevada is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will ensure the future success of golf operation through inspirational leadership that drives continual improvement and innovativeness. Provides professional support, direction, management, training and leadership in golf operations. A forward-thinking visionary who works tirelessly to promote the game of golf, and is always looking to enhance the guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities
• Leads the management and performance of Golf Shop Operations.
• Serves a growing membership and vibrant guest play.
• Maintains high visibility, remains engaging, and presents a strong sense of emotional intelligence when interacting with members, guests and employee partners.
• Governs all rules and regulations for golf courses, pace of place, course etiquette.
• Assimilate and build relationships with golf guest services employee partners; design and implement performance strategies that promote a positive workplace, enhance employee retention, and improve overall member and guest satisfaction.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating new golf operations staff.
• Develop a collaborative and cohesive partnership with the General Manager, Golf Course Superintendent, department heads, golf staff and vendor partners.
• Effectively communicate with the membership and guests, promoting new merchandise arrivals, written correspondence in newsletters, upcoming events, event winners, course maintenance schedules, and also highlighting accomplishments of staff.

Requirements:
Class A member of PGA/LPGA or Apprentice working towards membership.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems.

Compensation:
$75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year.
