Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assists the Head Golf Professional and 1st Assistant Golf Professional with management of all daily golf operations.
• Assists the Head Golf Professional and 1st Assistant Golf Professional with tournament operations.
• Assists the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with merchandising the golf shop including: receiving, pricing, invoicing, special order processing, and rotation of displays throughout the golf shop.
• Assists the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with monthly golf shop inventory.
• Plays golf with the members on a regular basis.
• Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Golf and/or Head Golf Professional.

Requirements:
Assistant Golf Professional or Golf Shop experience preferred.
Knowledge of Golf Operations.
Must have fundamental knowledge and familiarity for the game of golf and rules of golf.
Candidates must be motivated to continue to learn and develop.
Fundamental supervisory practices and principles.
Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees.
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Service and customer-focused attitude.
Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software a plus.
Experienced in written and oral business communications.
Experienced computer user including Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.
Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
Detail-oriented individual and able to prioritize work, managing multiple tasks with limited supervision
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to problem solve on the spot and take ownership for problem resolution

Compensation:
$800.00 per week.
