Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Purcellville, Virginia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Professional will join the Head Pro (22+ years at the club) and a staff of two assistants who have been with the club nine and five years each. Other staff includes Outside Services Manager, Pro Shop support staff and Outside Operations staff. This position requires excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail, along with providing consistent and a high quality level of service to the membership and their guests.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Professional and other staff in the daily operations of the club.
• Hire, train, and supervise outside service staff to ensure quality service and efficient time management.
• Assist with all aspects of the golf shop merchandising concession.
• Open/Close the Pro Shop as required based on weekly schedules.
• Organize and complete all club repair with quality results and in a timely manner.
• Assist staff with all aspects of tournament program to include club and outside functions along with Junior programs to include PGA Junior League.
• Provide a quality level of instruction for members and guests of all levels to include camps, clinics, and individual lessons.
• Play with membership on regular basis.

Requirements:
PGA Class A Member or Apprentice preferred but not required.
PGM Interns also preferred.

Compensation:
$44,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year.
