Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
As the assistant you will work closely with the superintendents on a daily basis. You will also be able to fill in for them during their absence.

Job responsibilities include:
• Supervision.
• Daily course setup.
• Daily course maintenance.
• Chemical/Fertilizer calibration and application.
• Irrigation setup, control, and moisture management.
• Tournament setup when required.
• Assist in planning and execution of various projects.
• Disease scouting.

Requirements:
Certificate, 2 or 4-year degree in related field.
Possess or be able to obtain a Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator’s License within the first 6 weeks of start date.
Minimum of two years of golf course maintenance experience required.
Prior experience with fertilizer and pesticide applications recommended.
Highly motivated, responsible and flexible.
Strong communication skills required, ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Able to supervise in the absence of superintendent.
Individual must be hands-on and ready for any task.
Understand and play the game of golf.
Valid driver’s license required.
