Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Spring Lake, Michigan is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The intern will work closely with the superintendent and assistants in all aspects of turfgrass management. Areas of training will include course set up, irrigation installation and repair, moisture management, chemical and fertilizer calibration and application, drainage projects, cultural practices, golf course scouting, and crew management. Interns will be able to evaluate and ask questions on the level of course maintenance at a private country club.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a two or four year turfgrass, landscape, horticulture program or related field.
Previous golf course experience is preferred but not mandatory.
The intern must be a team-oriented individual who is willing to work together with other crew members to accomplish the golf course maintenance team’s goals.

Compensation:
$15 – $16 per hour.
On-site housing, uniforms, golf privileges, and discounted meals.
