Head Golf Professional
Golf Club in Aspen, Colorado is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the management of the golf shop and outside operations related to the golf shop, consistent with the organization’s values and mission statement.

Essential Job Functions:
• Manages purchasing, visuals and displays, pricing and provides inventory control of golf shop merchandise.
• Responsible for hiring and training of all golf retail staff
• Monitors the quantity of goods and materials in stock.
• Manages driving range, golf rounds, and coordination/programming of golf tournaments.
• Responsible for Speed of Play and Starter Ranger Program.
• Prepares and maintains records for daily revenues, bank deposits, and reports.
• Responsible for cash controls and security; makes budget recommendations and prepares revenue forecasts.
• Ensures rental and range equipment are properly maintained, inventoried, and restocked.
• Exercises independent judgment in resolving citizen and customer complaints.
• Participates in the marketing and public relations of the golf course.
• Oversees daily golf cart fleet management as well as coordination of all maintenance and repairs.
• Responsible for directing and managing all events, tournaments, leagues, and programming.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Golf Course Management, Recreation, Business, or related degree.
Must currently be in good standing with the PGA/LPGA
Experience as a Class A1 Head Professional or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a PGA/LPGA Assistant.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Email).
Must have a basic understanding of website management, GHIN and Golf Genius software, and POS systems. Ability to learn the basic functions of all city software in relation to scheduling, payroll, hiring, and purchasing.
Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of start date.
Preferred Candidate: Previous experience at mountain resort or municipal golf course.

Compensation:
$30.48 – $45.72 per hour.
