Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Dallas, Texas is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
The chosen individuals will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance, including but not limited to the following:
• This year we will be hosting the Trans-Miss championship in July. Candidates will get tournament exposure for some of the best amateur golfers in the Elite Amateur series.
• Moisture management on bentgrass and bermudagrass playing surfaces.
• Operation of Hydronics and Sub-Air technology on bentgrass greens.
• Assistance with creating/implementing new operating procedures for the golf course.
• Chemical and Fertilizer calibration, application, and safety.
• Record keeping.
• Payroll.
• Irrigation repair and scheduling using Lynx software.
• Equipment repair and maintenance.
• Clubhouse grounds.
• Manage small projects.
• Routine maintenance (mowing, bunker maintenance, etc.)

Requirements:
Ability to read and understand product labels and government regulations, including knowledge of the proper use of various chemicals and fertilizers.
Computer skills-including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license.
Keep a clean and well-groomed appearance per club standards.
Motivated self-starter who has an eye for details.
Can work in all weather conditions.
Flexible work schedule-work weekends and holidays, as needed.
The individual may be asked to come in early and/or stay late.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
