Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Swanton, Maryland is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will be involved in many tasks but not limited to: Golf course setup, chemical and fertilizer applications, sprayer and spreader calibration, aeration, verticutting and topdressing, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, water management, staff training and snow removal. The Assistant Superintendent will lead the daily crew activities with support from the Superintendent.

Requirements:
Certificate/degree in Turfgrass Management.
1-3 years as a First or Second Assistant is preferred.
Must be a self-starter and detail-oriented.
Must have basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Must be certified pesticide applicator in MD within one year.

Compensation:
$55,000 per year.
