Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Rising Sun, Maryland is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Professionalism in day-to-day operations. Whether it’s running the shop, being a starter, or setting up and running an event we need our golf professionals to be exactly that – professional. Knowledgeable in the full golf operation and in the game of golf, while also being excellent in customer service.
2. Be directly involved in Player Development management for the club – create, manage and execute player development programs. PGA Junior League, First Tee, adult clinics, junior clinics, ladies clinics, camps etc. We want our golf professionals to design and run programs that improve our brand, bring new golfers to the game and to our course, while also being profitable for the course and the golf professionals alike.
3. Will directly oversee and manage outside golf operations staff.
4. Be asked to give complimentary golf lessons on behalf of the club to include during the instructional period.
5. Be asked to perform complimentary club repair and club fittings on behalf of the club.
6. Assist with all our leagues, tournaments, and outings (running, recruiting, sales, and setup).
7. Flexibility in schedule –however our business is hospitality and you will be required to work weekends and holidays. Our professional staff will be present for all major golf functions of the club to include outings and tournaments.
8. As an apprentice – prior to teaching private lessons – there will be a training period of instruction before the Club will be comfortable to allow you to perform private lessons at the club. You will be required to shadow and sit in on lessons.

Compensation:
$13.00 – $14.00 per hour.
