Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Queens, New York is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The Superintendent will be responsible for all activities related to the care and maintenance of the golf course, grounds, and equipment of the property. This role includes equipment maintenance and golf cart refurbishment and maintenance. Ensure the high quality of the turf condition and course playability. The role requires budget development and proposal for each coming year, and the ability to adhere to the accepted budget. The role requires personnel management, capital improvement planning, management of any capital improvements through to the completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Personnel management.
• Course monitoring.
• Financial management.
• Turf health and playability management.
• Aesthetic management of the entire property.
• Communication to golfing members, guests and/or public golfers.
• Equipment & golf cart refurbishment and maintenance management.
• General upkeep to maintain the playability of the course.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
Pesticide Application License is required.
CardiPulmonary Resucitation (CPR) Certification and First Aid Certification is preferred.
Valid Driver’s License is required.

Compensation:
$80,000 – $90,000 per year.
