Assistant Golf Professional
University in College Station, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position is Assistant Golf Professional, and reports to the Director of Golf. Responsibilities include, but not limited to above and beyond customer service, managing the outside service staff, managing the starter/marshall staff, assist in the coordination and operation of tournaments, assist the Merchandise Manager in monthly inventories, teaching private and group golf lessons, opening or closing the golf shop and facility, promoting memberships to the club, maintaining PGA status, and have a passion for the golf business.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide above and beyond customer service.
• Manage the outside service staff.
• Manage the starter/marshall staff.
• Assist in the coordination and operation of tournaments.
• Assist the Merchandise Manager in monthly inventories.
• Teach private and group golf lessons.
• Promote memberships to the club.
• Maintain PGA status.

Requirements:
Experience with Golf Now tee time/POS system.
Expert knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software.
Experience coordinating and operating large tournaments.
Experience managing employees.
GHIN Handicap system.
Work, Excel, and Publisher.

Compensation:
$25,000.00 – $31,000.00 per year.
