Golf Pro Shop Assistant
Golf Club in Olive Branch, Mississippi is looking for a Golf Pro Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Answer telephone, record incoming calls, and take starting time reservations.
2. Register players and assign them their tee time.
3. Collect all money for green fees, rentals, and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions.
4. Receives, processes, and verifies the accuracy of all daily funds, registrations and bank deposits at the golf course utilizing the golf point-of-sale computer system.
5. Maintains general order and cleanliness in the pro shop and other areas of the building.
6. Maintain daily records and reports.
7. Assist in organizing outside staff.
8. Remain courteous with patrons at all times.
9. Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
Previous experience as cashier or sales clerk preferred.
General knowledge of the game of golf.
Working knowledge of basic computer programs (POS Software).
Ability to work unsupervised.
Must have the ability to communicate via telephone.
Must have the ability to read, write and organize material.
Math skills necessary to process sales transactions.
Must be able to relate to others in a professional manner.
Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation:
$15.00 per hour.
