Assistant Golf Professional
Country club in Andover, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position will assist the head golf professional in all areas of the golf operation, while creating an enjoyable golf environment for the members and guests by promoting the game of golf. This professional will assist the head golf professional in all areas of the golf operation, while creating an enjoyable golf environment for the members and guests by promoting the game of golf. Provide excellent customer service to an active membership. Directly responsible for administering tournament operations that includes member events, weekly ladies’ day activities, interclub matches, junior golf and golf outings. Managing daily play and coordinating with golf staff. Provide golf instruction in the form of individual lessons and group clinics. Assist with the purchasing, receiving and inventory control of merchandise. Manage the day-to-day golf shop operation, which includes a club repair business. Improve the overall golfing experience by accompanying members and guests on the golf course.

Requirements:
PGA/LPGA Class A member or associate.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, computer expertise specifically with using tournament software programs, GHIN, P.O.S. systems and tee time management.
Applicants should have experience in teaching, tournament operations, administering golf programs for men, ladies and juniors.
Experience with merchandising and managing a full service golf shop.
Excellent customer service and a friendly, outgoing personality.

Compensation:
$800.00 – $1,100.00 per week.
