Assistant Golf Professional
Private golf course in Franklin, Tennessee is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The main responsibilities of this position are:
• Oversight of the operation in the absence of the head professional.
• Coordinate the merchandising efforts, including supervision of the retail staff.
• Direct involvement in training and developing staff members.
• Assist in managing outside staff.
• Instruction of members and guests, with a focus on junior golf.
• Manage Ladies Golf Association play days.
• Member tournament coordination.
• Corporate/Charity event coordination.

Requirements:
A minimum of three years as a first or second assistant professional position is required.
Member tournament experience.
Merchandising experience.
Junior development programming experience.
Staff supervision experience.
Candidates with premier resort experience will also be considered.
Successful candidates at a minimum must have completed Level 2 in the Professional Golf Management program through the PGA of America, with PGA Members preferred.
They must have a deep desire to become a PGA Head Professional at a private club.
A very strong set of member and guest service skills is required, as well as a team-first attitude.

Compensation:
$32,500.00 – $36,000.00 per year.
