1st Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The First Assistant Golf Professional will work within the stated guidelines of the facility to aid in the planning, organizing, budgeting, promoting, conducting, scheduling, and developing all golf programs and operations. The position requires an outstanding golf professional who possesses good communication, operational skills and strong playing ability. The position should also have experience in golf instruction, club fitting, tournament operations, pro-shop operations, junior golf as well as the passion required to become a Head Golf Professional.

Specific Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
• Complete the requirements of PGA membership and/or maintain an active classification in The PGA of America.
• Assist in the supervision and management of the total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
• Assist in managing the total operation of the practice facility.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf personnel as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Ranger and monitor the golf course while enforcing golf rules and regulations.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image while at Cedarbrook and also when off premises.
• Be informed on, and promote all club activities and services.
• Stay up to date on latest club technology, fitting equipment and teaching methods/technologies.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Strong concentration in managing tournaments and outings.
• Play golf with all different segments of members, to include; Men, Women, Seniors & Juniors.
• Seek and attend continuing educational opportunities in a variety of industry topics.

Requirements:
PGA Class “A” member preferred or an ambitions PGA Apprentice either registered in or approaching Level 3.
Experience at a private club and teaching experience preferred.

Compensation:
$37,500.00 – $40,000.00 per year.
