Golf Shop Staff
Golf Club in Winnetka, Illinois is looking for a Golf Shop Staff.

Position Overview:
The Pro Shop Staff Member performs a variety of tasks for the daily check-in of patrons, the purchase of merchandise, and the registration for golf programming.

Essential Functions:
• Provide excellent customer service behind the counter and over the phone.
• Effectively run point of sale systems.
• Assist in the receipt, display, inventory, control and promotion of merchandise sales.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain professional image at all times.
• Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with starter.
• Maintain a current knowledge of golf shop merchandise.
• Help organize and run outings and tournaments.
• Attend all scheduled meetings.
• The Head Professional or golf professional staff may delegate any other areas of responsibility.

Requirements:
Working knowledge of computers (capable of running the point of sale system), and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and the outside service staff.
Required to work early/late hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays as required by the nature of the business.

Compensation:
$12.00 per hour.
Golf playing privileges.
Discount on golf shop purchases.
Staff uniform.
