Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Each internship will be based on the individual’s current level of skills and knowledge of a golf course. We will personally tailor each internship experience to areas that we feel the intern needs to grow in. Each intern will work closely with the Assistant Superintendents and Assistants in Training to complete daily tasks and further their knowledge of our maintenance standards. Interns will gain experience in all facets of turf management, including but not limited to mowing, rolling, water management, fertilizer/pesticide applications and calibration, management strategies and record keeping. Interns will have the opportunity to volunteer at professional tournaments during their internship. Our goal for every intern will be to have them move into an Assistant in Training position at our organization once they have completed their education.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a certificate, 2 or 4 year turf program.
Golf course experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
$11.00 – $15.00 per hour.
Housing is available on property, meals, golf privileges, and volunteering at tournaments.
