Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Under the Superintendent’s supervision, the Student Intern participates in the golf course maintenance department’s day-to-day activities, while maintaining a high standard of quality to meet the expectations of a demanding membership. The Student Intern will work with existing management staff in the planning, scheduling and supervising the maintenance of the: putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers and associated support facilities. He/she will participate in chemical and fertilizer applications, calibration of equipment, record keeping, hand watering and syringing of playing surfaces, operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation and drainage systems.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organized, dedicated, detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment.

Compensation:
$15 per hour.
We offer onsite-housing, uniforms, some meals and golfing privileges.
