Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club facility in Orchard Lake, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional assists in the daily golf operation, which includes, but is not limited to: club services, golf shop, practice facilities, tournaments, and golf outings. They will assist with all merchandising functions, tournament management, and other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. An assistant professional will complete, or will aim to complete, the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in The PGA of America. They must conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to all patrons.
• Execute the day-to-day operation within the golf department.
• Run member golf tournaments/outings.
• Promote golf activities for golf members.
• Promote the game of golf through teaching, organizing beginner and junior programs, and organizing golf clinics.
• Promote merchandise sales including professional fitting and selling of golf equipment.
• Maintain the handicap computer and associated record keeping.
• Perform club repair duties.
• Play golf with members.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience as an assistant golf professional.
PGA member or PGA associate.
Knowledge of Golf Genius and Northstar a plus.

Compensation:
$24,800.00 – $28,400.00 per year.
